Welcome to A Deaf Heart Story!

As the youngest of nine siblings, I was profoundly impacted by the silence of my older deaf brother. Growing up, I struggled to understand how a family member could be excluded from important conversations. This experience ignited a passion within me to advocate for my deaf brother and, eventually, the broader deaf community, which often faced marginalization in healthcare.

Motivated by love for my brother and his friend Harold, I dedicated my life to ensuring that deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals receive the support they deserve in healthcare settings. My mission is to amplify their voices and advocate for equitable access to resources and care.
